skid Posted June 2, 2016 Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) I have an annoying Vibrating sound? when I hop out of my wagon, I hear a vibrating sound, if I put weight on my rock sliders it stops, if I climb back into my car it stops, if I climb under it and put pressure or pull on nearly ever component it stops, If I pull on the spring it stops, if I put pressure on my rear bumper it stops!!!! Chit, that's just funny.....anyway sorry can't help you with that one as mine rattles all the time and I just learned to live with it, accepting that's part of owning Japanese POS! skid Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2016 No checkerplate on rock sliders... when it made the noise today, if I touched the accelerator pedal ever so slightly to bring the revs up from 750 to 800ish the sound goes away... ricster Posted June 14, 2016 Report Share Posted June 14, 2016 It could be something as mundane as a cable bumping on the firewall due to the motors balancing at the specific rpm, and just the slightest change in body position causes the noise to disappear..... just trying to think outside the box here ....
