JNR Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Just wanting to know what everyone does for their 80,000 service. I don't like what's in the Gregory's manual. Feel there is stuff left out. Td42ti coil can
Rumcajs Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 I've checked the truck over and changed every fluid in every unit, I'm sorta rolling maintenance guy so e.g. no point for me removing front hubs to check/regrease bearings as I had those apart 6 months prior....I check brakes every 5K when I rotate tyres.....I grease the uni joints and check the shafts randomly every 3 months, anything else my attitude is "if it ain't broke don't touch it" and fix what fails right away. Cheers
Ray! Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Your warranty manual tells you everything that should be done at an 80,000km service. Cheers Ray
NIZZBITS Posted June 17, 2012 Report Posted June 17, 2012 All fluids. Parts. Front hub seals, front hub washers (I reckon you can re use them usually but Nissan call them single use), All filters (air, oil, fuel). Thats about it. Check every moving part basically.
