Oldmate Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Hi Guys, I am about to embark on some DIY sliders for series II GU. Wondering If some of you guys can take some pics and post in here off your chassis mounts ( as where they are positioned on your chassis) especially drivers side as there seems to be some crap in the way. I am planning on using 2 U shape mounts and the front one utilize gearbox crossmember bolts I think. Any pics would be great. Cheers fellas

Craigs Patrol Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 hey i just used the factory side step mounts to the body - they were just steel angle welded at a right angle. i unbolted the aluminimum steps and welded on some 100*50*3mm rhs ontop of the brackets. suprisingly they have stood up to some pretty big hits... very basic. cheers craig
