Cheers mate? I looked on eBay they don't have the tie rod or draglink on there can I ask how much you paid for them?

I think they are around 180 for lowers and 150 for uppers, you are best off re-using your Nissan bushes.

Still difficult for GU top hinge. but yes -that is the other option. . . . remove guard,

As a side point, ill say nearly any wrecker you go to will have no upper RHS GU hinges left. . . . they are somewhat of a crap design.

tip: pinch a lower left hand side one(all wreckers seem to have these, and they are about half the price lol.) they are cross interchangeable. bottom right fits top left, top right fits bottom left.

Just took a look at mine and the top and bottom hinges appear to be different to each other so I can't see why the bottom left would suit the top right and visa versa?

because they are symmetrically opposed, you cant flip a bottom right and put it on top, but you can use the lower left. . . .

-you notice that the hinge bit that bolts to the body is the same. . . but the bits that bolt to the door are staggered. . . . thats to go with the curve of the GU door, thats why it wont work swapping bottom to top on the same side.

OK, a little childish.

Yes.

Considering that you're about 16km from where I live, where exactly is that area just a few kilometres from your place? Is that the Little Morwell River?

Ah, I haven't driven that road, though did have a look around the Bungaree area and Grand Ridge Road and saw some pretty good looking tracks in the logging areas. It's boggy enough where we go collecting wood at the moment, so don't need any more excitement.

When i organize a daytrip here we should meetup.

Im planning a tour of Boolara, budgeree, and middle creek, so pretty close.

I went to the Halston area a few weeks ago to have another look at the side tracks for wood and the main road going into the lower area required 4L just to get back without mad wheel spin (that was on my road tyres). The mud around here can get somewhat insane after even just a bit of rain. I might wait till summer and check out the logging tracks around Grand Ridge, I'm just not set up for the mud in this area.

Where did you get them from?

Alan @ Racebred4wd.

Alexanders road morwell, Vic.

PHONE: 0351 341 007

I get heaps of bits from Alan, he does good work, i paid $630 fitted for this set of sliders. probably not a normal price, but it gives you an idea.

EDIT: asked Alan today, Normal fitted price is 700. just the sliders are 550 plus postage.
