dronus4x4 Posted May 12, 2012 Author Report Posted May 12, 2012 Fitted two more 12v power outlets to the rear of the centre console to run the 12v oven and power the kids electronic gear That is a great idea! I've ordered a pile of 12v - 5v @ 2A USB adapters, I might mount a couple inside there for the kids to plug phones etc into! Awesome! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Nutta Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 Fitted two more 12v power outlets to the rear of the centre console to run the 12v oven and power the kids electronic gear Bloody good idea, i might do the same, i've already got 3 or 4 things jammed in the front lighter plugs.
Nutta Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 I put a new ic fan on mine today, cleaned the catch can and tidied up some wiring, and just remembered now i was meant to get my spotties sorted. I might chuck the 35" muddies on tomorrow for something to do, after i take the missus out for mothers day with the kids!
dronus4x4 Posted May 12, 2012 Author Report Posted May 12, 2012 Right - Admin needs these, I get bogged often cause im a shithouse driver... where and how much? Pm sent about price Opposite lock, roadrunner offroad and arb sell them. Arb didn't have any stock (and were $$$) OL are local and slightly cheaper than RROR so I got them from there with all the other gear. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
gottheshits Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 Hey dronus can you pm me price to please..

dronus4x4 Posted May 13, 2012 Author Report Posted May 13, 2012 (edited) Took tow pintle off and replaced with recovery hoop. Planning to replace that with a thick plate that bolts on and has another plate welded in the middle at 90degrees which has a hole for a rated shackle. I don't trust that hoop so it has to go. I'll post pics in DIY as we make it (prob next weekend) Took of grill bug screen and repainted it Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 Edited May 13, 2012 by dronus4x4
waz65 Posted May 13, 2012 Report Posted May 13, 2012 Fitted two more 12v power outlets to the rear of the centre console to run the 12v oven and power the kids electronic gear I've got a similar set-up to this but on mine but i've got each plug on it's own switch and a volt/amp meter , i'll post a pic when i get home tomorrow
Russ81 Posted May 14, 2012 Report Posted May 14, 2012 I ordered the black widow drawers and cargo barrier today just got to wait now until they come in so I can install them I think I will have to remount the compressor to so I don't have to cut the wing panel.
Russ81 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Picked up the drawers and cargo barrier today the install was pretty straight forward
heyhey Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Pulled about 10kgs of wire out of the cab, thanks to the mines for having alternative switches for headlights, taillights, etc, I know have a life time supply of automotive wiring, switches, relays, conduit, etc. Good fun!
gottheshits Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Splashing out - rigs going in for full cut and polish and interior detail today. Cant wait to see the shiny white duco instead of dust brown. its not technically what " I " did..... but " I " paid for it
Toppy Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 I'm thinking about putting mine in too. What did you pay?, if you don't mind me asking.
gottheshits Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Under picknpay (across the road from the vale) I think (hope) it was $220, bit hard to understand was my little friend. Thats full cut and polish wax and interior detail . Not cheap but fark it was going to take me along time to do it. Paintwork was a mess . Will let you know how it comes up and if it was worth it or not. Have had it washed there before while shopping and they do a pretty good job.

It would literally take me 2 days if i did it my self! Edited May 17, 2012 by Nutta
Nutta Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Other than the detail the 3" zaust went on today, very happy!! I've ignored the old girl for a few years, was ready to ditch her for a new ford ranger, changed my mind so thought i owed her a cleanup. In fairness to her she has never missed a beat from new! 9 years and 176k.
gottheshits Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Well i Just got home to see a nice shiney trolley in the driveway. Bloke has done a top job on it. $240 inside and out. Only complaint is the amount of smelly chit he sprayed inside. Oh well it will cover up the dog farts for awhile..
Nutta Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Cool! I dont take my dog out anymore, his farts are just to rotten to often! Its bad enuff putting up with my own!
dronus4x4 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Report Posted May 17, 2012 Drove it to the shops to pick up a pizza. Um that's about it for today. Sent from my GT-P7100 using Tapatalk 2
Toppy Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 In keeping with the theme, drove to a job interview then home.
