TB42E temp guage not working

Hey Lads, first ever post,

Recently picked up a 1992 model TB42E and I temp guage doesn’t work, gets to maybe 1/4 of the full guage, threw a new temp sensor in and still the same, is it possible I have a faulty thermostat as my heater also seems piss weak?

Well, indeed that could be the case, stuck partially open. Remove and check visually.
