Been a member on patrol4x4 for several years ,It's always been a great sorce of information an generally a great forum. Like many others I'd be dissapointed to see it fall, But everyone bagging it will not help it's future . I joined here because i'm keen to support this forum just as much as the old one ,being a new forum there's bound to be new knowledge from people who were never on the old forum, Be nice to see less bitchin an more supporting for both forums , otherwise we might as well all go an join outers.

After rebuilding my winch an fitting new sealed solinoid i sprayed all the terminals an connections on the winch with the anti corrosion spray that is made for battery terminals . So far it's worked perfectly even after the winch was repeated drowned while going through the 56 odd river crossing in haunted stream.

I've got a warn 9000 fitted to the ute, with no mods other than a new solinoid pack . I've had the ute bogged down to the rails when it was loaded full with firewood an it pulled me out no worries.

Here's what i'm currently driving an others i've owned in the past 20 years My current 92 Td42 coil cab, 33" Federals, 3" Dobinson lift ,Drop boxes, Extended brake lines. Adjustable panhards, Winch etc.etc The Mrs 90 tb42 Maverick,33" Mudstars, 2" Dobinson lift My 1st 89 maverick Tb42, 2" O.M.E lift My 1st ever troll . 1976 G60.Original p40, 3spd, An mostly non existant brakes. This was 20 years ago back then 31" muddies 1" body lift an a good solid bar was all that was needed.

Haunted Stream a couple of months ago.

Well i've got 1 stubbie holderan just bought my 2nd hat. I'd be happy to buy from this forum if it helped support the forum as well. All we need is someone to design an market them like Sim did on the other forum.

Hats, Stubbie Holders , Shirts, So many people on patrol4x4 wanted these items all the time , if someone on this forum could organise this type of thing for this forum the items themselves could help put money back into the forum. How many people would mind paying an extra 50c or $1 for an item if they know the moneys going to something they use all the time . Just a thought !
