  1. LOVING this wet and cold weather, was standing in the rain and 4degree wind all of yesterday, wouldn't want it any other way. Seems I haven't changed from the age of 5. When it was raining, I used to go outside and build drains and dams, now when it rains, its usually when I'm building drains into the dams
  2. I used to what that site for them, they go cheap as shit.
  3. If it is still doing the job after the kids, it must be pretty versatile and easy to use.
  4. WTFing FUCK! I had just received delivery of my BBQ Chicken Pizza, sat down at the comp to check the forums before a marathon study session, and now I'm completely put off my Pizza and doing anything else. I think I may cry myself to sleep in the corner of the room, protecting my genitals from the fucking mental Japanese. WTF! I just cannot believe there is no law in Japan against cannibalism.
  5. What brand is your trailer? Looks like a pretty good setup you have.
  6. To be honest I haven't even seen those cheap Warns. I'ld assume they are just as good as any Chinese branded winch. I'm looking as getting another winch for the rear of my ute and unless I can find a second hand Warn, I think I'll get one of the SuperCheap winches.
  7. I looked at them, but they were in Qld and the freight cost made it uneconomical. Patrol-A-Part want to charge me $800 for just an ST passenger seat and a console!!!!!
  8. I'm pretty sure it was 100mm, its the same height as the chassis rail. I used some old 100 x 50 x 6mm channel from power station intercooler packaging.
  9. I went a solid flywheel and an Exedy Racing Tuff clutch. I don't relly like it as it is harsh in the engagement due to the lack of weight in the motors internals, but as Bogmeister said, it was much much cheaper and reliable than the DMF.
  10. Yep!, along with a sheet metal tool box, plumb bob, drill bit guage and something else because I finished heaps early, but I can't remember what it was.
  11. I made one of those almost exactly the same in my Swinburne Mech Eng Advanced Diploma course.
  12. Yeah mate, as per post #5, flangless hubs.
  13. Looks shit, grain doesn't match up on the end plugs. Looks like chinese knock off, techno ikea didgeridoo
  14. Get it going Ray! Your retired now
  15. Haha, tis a cold one this morning. If there were anymore moisture in the air, it would be snowing
  16. Ahhhh, "find a cheaper stocked item and we'll beat it by 10%". Seems like your doing yourself outta coin by going elsewhere. OH and BTW, you seem to like Bunnings enough in your sig. Personally I don't like Bunnings, they stock what they can get cheap usually meaning their products aren't neccearily the common sizes, types, etc. Pisses me off. That's too thick and it will most likely absorb water (water vapour/liquid water).
  17. I know the Nav/Pathy wheels and they are not that, they are the same as the picture Jacket posted up, but 16". I think I'll buy them, trying to bargin with them at the moment as they are asking too much IMO
  18. I had the patrol hung up on the sills on a cross drain whilst out between Woods Point and Walhalla by myself, dug the whole thing away with a tent peg and my hands.
  19. Just picked up a roll, decent enough looking stuff (smells strong though). Just wondering, how nuts should I go with this stuff? I'm not going to knock out the original bitumen soundproofing on the floor pan. I plan on running a bead of body deadner that I have left over, around the existing bitumen mat, the run a another lot straight over the top. With the pilars behind the front doors, it you put the mat on the outside or inside? Roof? Firewall already has material matting.
  20. Thats pretty good. I've just stripped all the electrics out of mine to set it up like my wagon. Will be interesting to see how it compares.
  21. Yep aware of them too. I'll have to sneak in a picture
  22. WTF, that thing is FRIGGIN WICKED!!!!!! GREAT WORK@!!!! I weld stuff, thats no good.
  23. Just found that the RHS upper hinge on my ute has been replaced
  24. Neither have I, I don't have them, I seen them at the Tyre shop. Look EXACTLY the same as the 17" wheels, just in 16" x 8" instead.
