  1. G'day guys. Got a 2004 guiv zd30 manual. With a provent catch can installed. I get about 1100kms from combined 110ltr tanks. So works out to 10ltrs/100km.
  2. Damn. That's not the answer I was hoping for. Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any idea on price?
  3. G'day guys. Went out for my first 4wd ever in wombat state forest today. It was amazing. However I think that after 180,000kms my stock clutch has given up tue ghost. It feels quite slippy. I am looking for a new heavy duty clutch. Any brands anyone would recommend. I drive a 2004 guiv 3.0 di, 5spd man. Also should I look into getting the flywheel machined while I've got the car apart? Has anyone done a clutch replacement in their backyard? How hard is the job?
  4. Has anyone used the projecta electronic 150 amp isolator kits?
  5. G'day guys. Just wondering what battery isolators everyone uses in their setups and your thoughts on these. I am looking at getting a deep cycle agm with a 100amp redarc isolator.
  6. Tyabks for the quick reply mate. What battery tray did you buy? Did you have to modify any pre existing parts of the engine? Also what isolator did you use?
  7. G'day guys. I have a 2004 guiv with a zd30 and abs. I am looking at setting up a dual battery system between my air box and coolant bottle. I have bought a cheap generic battery tray from super cheap auto and I will be welding up mounts myself. I am also looking at getting the redarc isolator. My questions are: 1: what is the maximum size battery I could fit (agm or deep cycle)? (For those who have a similar setup already) 2: do I need to worry about engine temps while mounting my battery there? Thanks for your time guys.
  8. Thanks mate. I understand that an egr blockin plate is recommended but I am apprehensive to do so due to illegality of tampering with an emission control system. Apart from having to clean my maf sensor more often and maybe topping up oil more often what are the downsides to not blocking the egr? Also do you notice a difference in performance and economy when blocking the egr?
  9. Gday guys. Very new to this I just purchased a 2004 guiv zd30 manual. I have read into nads and have a boost gauge, pyrometer and provent 200 on the way but I have heard that I may need a different Dawes and needle valve set up compared to the earlier models due to a higher rate of vacuum. Can anyone shed any light on the matter.
  10. Sunbury mate.
  11. Gday everyone. My names Robbie. Im from victoria and I just bought a 2004 guIII 3.0 st. Stumbled across this page after looking for nads guides. Been very helpful so far. Thanks to everyone.
  12. Thanks for the informative guide. Its been a great help as I have just purchased my first 4wd. A 2004 guIII zd30 patrol, and NADS is the first thing I'm looking to do to it. However I was wondering if there are any changes in the modifications needed between gu series?
