Can some tell me if it's possible to remove the sump with the engine still in place. Will I need to jack the front up and drop the shocks, sway bar etc?
Thanks in advance.
The quality of the road was fine. There's a lot of mining happening and we passed a few road trains with side dumping buckets on em. One of them hit a bull standing in the middle of the road recently and put the whole rig on its side.
The amount of blood spray stains/splats on the road was unreal , seemed like every two hundred yards.
Keep a csi team busy 24,7 :-)
Yes, 200 x 38 select grade, skip dressed, kiln dried blackwood in cubic meter packs.
If I was into turning small stuff I'd have a use for the off cuts, but it get used for solid benchtops etc
Yeah um hate to say it but I started my fire last night with bits of select grade blackwood. Bought the stuff @ $3,500 m3, big enough for some crafty stuff but off cuts from a bed room suite I'm working on.
felt a bit guilty but hey you gotta keep warm!
I have a reasonably big leak of oil from where the timing cover back plate meets the block.
Hoping to fix it insitu.
Hoping I won't have to pull the cam out to reseat the plate .
The engine was rebuilt 100,000 kms ago so can't see the point rebuilding it just yet.
Just want to stop the oil leak.
Anybody know what's involved?
Thanks in advance.
Lol,you right. haven't had the pleasure of meeting that one yet.
Did a trip from Broken Hill to Wentworth recently, seen too many to count but thankfully they all sat or moved away from the road.
