Hay guys. My face book page is now up. https://www.facebook.com/WestysAccessories Feel free to have a look. There are a few other things like rear wheel bags and the list is growing. Until the end of November I'll be knocking $20 Off the wheel bags for forum members. Cheers Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories

Yea I thought so, so I've shared it. It'll take time to build and there are some missed vids on there. The producer wrote a code which pulled all vids with a geo tag within a certain search criteria and it pulled some huge amount. He went threw and cleaned out some 3000 odd dud vids but did miss some. If you do find something just comment on it and Andy will remove it. All comments are seen by Andy, and all New vids have to be approved. Looking forward to using it.. Well mate with that sorta time span and background, if you have time on your hands id grab a blowen 3ltr from 05ish and a brand new 4.2 turbo crate motor and you'll have a comfortable, reliable ride with plenty of power to do what you want. I believe the 4.2 conversion is the easiest of em due to the little electronics the TD42 needs to run. Anyway, with a budget of $30 thou you can buy nice 2010 model gu 3ltr and with some simple mods (NADS, chip and exhaust) you can have a weapon. There is no limit.. Welcome mate. It's a little slow here but very laid back and very welcoming. As for your questions, I have a few for you to first to find out what'll suit you. First up what's the budget roughly? Secondly will you be towing, if so how much? Is there any bits you'd like included in your purchase? I.e. Winch, draw system, tyres? And what sorta comfort level are you after? Are you mechanically minded? When is you trip planned for? Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories

Bit of an up date.. Its running... Bolted the old radiator in for the time being. Hoses, thermostat and gaskets and belts have all been done. Valve clearances will be done when the injectors get done. Repaired the cracks found in the body, and should be ordering the dynomat next week.. Carpet has had a solid scrub and high pressure clean.. Very happy, will hit with a good carpet cleaner and then call it done. Scored a LRA 75L sub tank for free. Will cost $65 delivery so happy there.. Running wire for the middle door speakers across under the front seats, drivers side is done, just need to make the hole for the speaker and fit out when it all goes together.. Got new Sony 6.5's for the front doors, but to deep to fit behind the original trim, so will either mod the trim or mount them down lower in the door.. Still to do. Rear panhard rod LRA tank when it arrives Snorkle Tyres Tint Interiour fit out Roof console.. It keeps growing... Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories

Ok, update.. I noticed a large mold spot on front floor.. And my new fan didnt turn up by the weekend.. So I ripped the interior out. I'd load pics but the net is carp tonight.. Turns out I'm glad I did.. Many years ago.. 15 maybe.. Mice ate threw the gear lever boot. It looks like they have done a rough job and the seal was carp, and has allowed mud and water threw the seal and under the floor.. I pulled the middle out and again, glad I did.. The 2 rear hold down points have cracked the Floor.. So I'll weld the cracks up, ans while it's all out sound deaden the lot. See how the carpet pulls up, I might replace that to.. So the car is running now.. Old radiator went in for the time being. But New hoses, belts, thermostat and gaskets are fitted.. Just have to fit drag link then Off to be aligned.. Might have picked up a long range 75ltr sub tank, so will fit that when it comes.. So... I think I'm upfront... Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories

Bloody hell.. You know I was thinking about this just this week.. And in short, no.. I have stripped the patrol so that is taking all spare time and cash atm.. I did get hold of a vac but will look around for a blower like yours as they are a lot quieter.. I've got the base of the heater finished, all I really have to do is cut and plum the flue in.. But yours.. Bloody hell.. Sweet.. Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories

lift kit information
BigGQWesty replied to Shorty1989's topic in Nissan Patrol GQ/Y60 & Ford Maverick (GQ Patrol, 1988–1997)
If it's gearbox or engine mounts it should be ok. If Its uni joints the will need changing asap. Being a swb your Are pushing the limits of angles with lifts, and I think 3 is really the most people push them. But yea check out those uni joints. Quite simple, 4 bolts and check them for slop and that they are smooth. There spinning there little rings Off at 100k/h so they need to be like butter in the hands..
