  1. A chain does stretch and spring back. But the rings will deform before snapping
  2. Ok. No hi beam dash light.. Will investigate that one.
  3. Thanks Rodney, I'm not sure about the dash light.. Will investigate. As mentioned before I do have power at the hi/low switch and is switching on and off as it should. So to me that's fine..
  4. Have checked fuses. Both are fine. Might pull the box out and check behind it.. All connections look clean and no dodgy crimps. All soldered apart from the solenoid. I pulled the feed wire off it still no good. Globe is fine, but as I mentioned I have no power at the plug.. It's looking more like a broken wire.. But I'm not pulling the loom apart to find it.. Lol
  5. Clever thinking with pressurizing the tank.. But with my top mount air cleaner I was going to position right above inlet from the top lid.. With a dropper of an inch to put it just above the inlet. Quick question.. Are you still noticing differences after the mix runs out? Or does the rubber tearing neck snapping torque end when the mix runs out?? I'm thinking I might try fit 20ltrs so when on tracks I can apply NoZ..
  6. Ok.. Been bugging me for a bit.. I got every other light on the bus (finally) working but this one.. I started by pulling the light out and checked the globe.. All good. Plug is good on low but nothing on hi. I've pulled the steering column apart to check the switches. All is good there but I did notice that the driving lights have been wired into this wire also to the solenoid so I'm not sure if this could be my issue.. So what am I missing??
  7. The only problem I can see with the bunnings job after the turbo is the increased pressure you'll be dealing with.. So a stronger pump and connections would be needed.,
  8. I spose the other thing you have to think about is % increase.. In the vid the jumped from 680 to 735 HP.. That's 12% (I think) So for a chugging 4.2 NA diesel engine with a staggering 83 something HP the increase will shoot it threw the roof to... 92 HP!!!
  9. Any good fuel distributor.. It can be bought in 205L drums for $300 ish a drum..
  10. The blokes in the video do kits retail on eBay for $400-$600 depending on what stage you get.. But I've been looking for atomizing tips.. It's a bit hard finding them for less than 500 psi.. But did find this one site and this tip.. http://www.aeromist.com/51472.html I think the old commodore water pump might not cut it.. But for $10 I'm going to give it a crack.. Next is to get a descent tank..
  11. Holy crap.. Although I believe that's a different use to what the thread was about.. Originally it was a cleaning agent. Not HP increases.. But hay, I wonder if you can get both.. I won't be complaining..
  12. Nice find ray.. 17% extra heat.. That'll help the $100 per cubic meter wood we get flogged.. But we got a big fire so I'd need 2.. So when I got the cash I'll probably grab a couple to..
  13. Very cool ray.. But a but unsure on what it's good for.. I mean to use it you need a small screen.. But then it's basically a small desk top.. Cool thinking.. But I can't really see it taking off..
  14. I'm up for a August-September run. Will probably just be me as the wife will be nearly ready to drop.. But I may be able to score a neat lil camp spot on a locals block..
  15. I'm so temped to throw the rods in and go find yas...
  16. Hard wired the rear bar lights.. I've always had issue with the genuine plugs so hopefully this solves the issue..
  17. That's the one.. I'm a bit puzzled though because when I've been searching for them the 'Christmas tree' style lights are a replacement part for my 91 gq, not a mod. I'm wondering if they were replaced at an earlier age with the dummy style. My plug has 3 wires running to it but only 2 to the light out of the plug.. Well I'm guessing there on the list to...
  18. Nice. So jealous....
  19. Hay guys. With my new job requiring me to travel a bit more before sunrise I'm worried that the crap substandard tail light in the bar is not enough.. I don't have the window light either. So I'm thinking of putting the later series body lights with the tail break and indicator all in on in.. But I'd like to know if it's a straight fit with existing wiring or not?? My wiring..
  20. Have a look. Me and the family are going geocaching..
  21. That a higher tide.. Weekend forecast is lower.. But the word around is the vermin baiters will be in the parks and they will be closed to the public.. Can't see how though..
  22. I must say you picked a top weekend. If I hadn't just started my new job I'd be joinin the treck.. Next time..
  23. Well I think I gotta give this a crack.. Mines pushing 1/2 mill on the clock. I've just put a tank full of injector/engine clean threw it and I've noticed a bit of an increase.. This may increase it more.. A couple of questions though, what size spray tip did you use?? And did you measure a flow rate? Cheers
  24. Yea sorry it's a stock arb winch bar, but not a regular one. Happy modding
  25. Down the currarong?? Have a top weekend.
