Still on topic.. 99.95% of the potential power just isn't quite good enough .. They other bit ray added was just a gentle read while pondering potential upgrades we could discuss...
-
I'm with ray, an intercooler is not a vary good option. More of a wank factor object really. Your money would be better spent on turbo, or injectors & pump. There your real power increase options.

Well this will make blood boil if it becomes true.. http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&client=safari&q=clive+palmer+running+for+parliament&oq=clive+palmer+for+parlime&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.1.0.0i8i10.65979.75887.0.77524.24.22.0.2.2.0.446.3020.3-5j3.8.0...0.0.7bOBxhqlA9o&mvs=0 Clive Palmer for parliament... As of he would run for the good of the people.. I would bet my life that if he got in, there would be no more secured areas and Australia would be a free for all for mining..

Could post a pic or 2 of your retainers?

He's not as bad, but still up there. ruddy I was talking about though. We should all elect the 20yr old from up QLD way I think he was. He had his head screwed on.
-
Why not. I'd love to be able to do what you do. Once again this is going to an epic build once completed.. Keep it comin.

And to top it all of, offset reimbursements won't start until march 2013 threw to 2014 ??? WTF??? What a half assed cash grab...
-
This whole thing is getting outta control.. But the next person to take rannga's spot is just as big of a tool... Who the hell selects these muppets...
-
If your chasing low range torque I would suggest a new cam and intake to compliment the 3' exhaust. This alows the engine to breath a lot easier and you'll find a bit less turbo lag to.. And if you have some $$$ to blow, send some my way.. Then rip the head off and send it for a porting and valve oversizing. Don't bother with a shave or polish as these are a waste of time IMO (more money for very little if any increase.).

And to top it all off, there on winter break now.. WTF.. So Australia just stops for 2 (I think) weeks. They should be made to stay untill this who asylum thing was sorted.. No matter how long.. Boy I'd love a winter break...

And now mole is saying that even if abbot gets in he won't be able to remove it... She like a cat to me.. And we all the ending for good cats.. It's funny how the whole thing has come in though. Mining, fishing, manufacturing and farming got exemptions from the full force of the tax (which is a crock of BS to start) yet the timber industry (most fragile of the lot) was over looked and will get the full hit. Funny how this industry is the only industry which has a negative foot print due to all the plantations they run, but the plantations are not included in the gov's tax calculations... This whole thing is utter BS and we as Australians are being laughed at by the rest of the world...

Spot on. For the clutch. The brake has its reserve canister built into it. Can be moved anywhere. Really. Mine will be moved from 1/4 pannel to fire wall when I put the snorkel on..

I was going to say, as much as it F-ing wants to... Lol But I to don't mind the slog. It's getting harder though to find willing farmers to share there land these days. Heading soon again hopefully before our new land owners move out..

The father inlaw has these fitted to his Prado, and are excellent.. Depending on your lens though, will depend on the cut off level. It's all well and good to have the 'shield', but light is still going to bunch around in the glass.. But great prices to on that site..
-
Welcome John. Were are you located to in Australia?

IMHO, go to a real butchers and request cuts.. My inlaws just got a whole cow for $500... That's well over $1000 worth of meat from the supermarket, and it's all top quality.. You should see the ribs!!!!!

Water Leak at Firewall
BigGQWesty replied to Tonka's topic in Nissan Patrol GU/Y61 (GU Patrol, 1999–2016)
Check your roof gutter seam join.. It's inside the gutter and a roof rack can wreck it. It has mine and when the car is slightly nose down water runs inside the car along the gutter and comes in at the top of the pillar. I thought it was my window seals untill it was replaced and the leak was still there... -
So you got a pressure activated switch? I was thinking a rpm switch for my N/A 4.2. But I have started s little. But have had brake issues which need fixing first.. A real PITA...
-
Nice pump. But what's this turn on at 9psi??
-
Very neat install. And that's not a bad little unit.

Well I've just completed my first tank after running injector cleaner threw. And I've just calculated my usage... And a good mix of town, highway and towing has come out at 14.5L/100K.. So I think that's pretty good. I'm hoping the snorkel and exhaust will improve it again..
