I had the E.R.P.S. brand on my old puslux, wich had a rust hole in the floor that I never repaired until I sold it which was 4years later and the hole never got any bigger and I am not that fussy when wash my 4b's so I believe in this system hence why I have put it in my shorty. -

The boys @ Ozled also do the 175bar which will screw into the light bracket/holder that is in ARB bullbars as well nice and easy cheap mod to do. -

If you use thinners with the brush on stuff it does set ..... Just a heads up also try using the brush on with the thinners in a degreasing gun and spray it on, then you get good spread and it drys well -
Hi guy's and girls I am @ Taigum Brissy northside & should have my shorty done just before June??? give or take a week.

Your UHF and areial should be tuned from the factory in most cases you may need to adjust your squelch so you can hear the white noise then just go back up a flys dick and then scan you should be able to pick up a repeater chanel?? eventually

I thought the state by state might help if you neede some help from a fellow member you could use that as a referance? to find a local member to you.... i also like how there is still a general forum for everything else, Thanks Admin.

Thanks KMsMK I have done this to a few cars now and it does work a treat nice and quiet I used rust converter on any surface rust that was on the floor and the bituman tape seals the floor just like a lot of people use bituman paint as a rust preventive in thier underbody spaying the tape is much thicker and you only cut the holes out you need in your floor so you then rely on good door seals if you get stuck in water to hold that out the car is much quieter then when I first got it and you get much better sound out of your stereo to because of the acoustic effect from the matting. -
In my 1998 TI I had the second Battery in the back and run the cable along the inside of the cab under the foot treads to the Battery box with a TJM IBS dual battery kit and I haven't ever had a problem here are some old pic's as I haven't had the TI for a couple of years now. I'll ad pics later if you want?

I have decided to sound proof and water proof and also rust proof al at the same time with a cheaper alternitive to Dynamat, you can find it a Bunnings or most hardwares it is called Weatherproof Tape... it is a bituman backed foil you can get different width rolls I went doe the one about a foot wide I needed two rolls at about $122.50 each compared to the Dynamat which would be around $5-600 to do exactly what I have done with this and it is the same thing (bituman backed foil) here are some pic's I also added an E.R.P.S. (Electronic Rust Prevention System) under the matting.

It's good to be able to get in at a ground level so to speak in forums, I am usually one of the last to join a lot of forums that I am on lol

How about a state by state section in disscusions? so local people can organise trips or events? Edit by Admin: I have now added states to the General Patrol Discussions area :-)

Nice wagon, I am with you guy's on the 4" being a safe hight lift for a daily, have you fitted a winch to your Xrox bar yet? I am interested as we went to fit my mate winch to his only to find we need to get a winch plate to fastern the winch to as I am not willing to take the risk pf mounting the winch to the bar as it is only 5mm thick and I would mount a winch to anything under 10mm. Interested to hear what everyone else thinks to.
