  2. Ah kids god luv em. Took mine for a relaxing fish this morning. Daughter 2 casts - tangled got shitty - off to playground. Son 5 casts hasnt caught anything - bored off to playground. Dad 7 casts bites on every cast and bream on the last. Kids say that's not fair we wanna go home. School holidays are fun aren't they........
  3. California uber alles - Dead Kennedy's.
  4. I just blame my wife for everything.........
  5. Good job mate. How much effort was it to get the booster out.
  6. Good work mate, hope all goes well from here on.
  7. If your not done yet, either stereo( will have illuminating power) or parkers. Can get the feed from back of lights or from fuse block. Same earth will be fine. If you splice into headlight wire you may not get power with only parkers on.
  8. Love cats - the cure
  9. Are you gunna give it a proper burial ray. Steampunk ...........
  10. No in towards middle of vehicle. Silicone up next to the guards so the water has to go that way.
  11. Drivers side. Harder to see behind the brake booster. I had to pop rivet the aluminium to the top of the flange because of access .
  12. Passenger side. Aluminium is siliconed and pop riveted to the underside of the flange on the fire wall. Its long enough that the water runs along and drops of closer to the tunnel.
  13. Left my phone at work last night so couldn't take pic. Should be home in hour or so. Will take and post then.
  14. Put a zd30 in it. RFLMFAO. Sorry boss couldn't help myself. Bout time we got some pay back.........
  15. G'day mate, i ran mine through the big grommets in the fire wall. Be careful though as if you split them to much water can get through. See thread by Tonka As to power i took that from radio cd (not constant) can pick up lights from there aswell so gauge will illuminate when you turn lights on. Hope this helps.
  16. Can't help with the wire but I'll post a pic when I get home of my solution to the water. Aluminium angle mounted on the firewall to divert the water away from the grommets (has worked a treat for the last 18 months). Have done it to both sides as I had water coming in both.
  17. Straight down the fire wall and in through the big grommets, where you would run uhf cable boost and pyro cables. Put a hose on the screen get inside and you will see it pouring in.
  18. Last leg of the trip has seen average ltrs at 13.8. I'm guessing that the hard workout for it has really blown out the cobwebs. It's is actually running nice boost levels compared to the start of the trip. All in all have saved enough on fuel compared to what I had allowed to go and buy a couple of cartons of Jimmies.
  19. Going of the gps( 2 of) I'm spot on 10% out running the 285s. I took the rack off for the trip and I've got the tyres at 40psi. Its been bloody cold ( for a queenslander ) so I'm reckon that would be helping aswell. Start of the trip Brisbane to Glen Innes was 15.1 ltrs per 100 and its slowly gotten better. Trying to fill up at regular intervals to keep an eye on it.
  20. I'm 1/2 way through our trip towing the van. 1000kms at 14.52 ltr average. No flat road so I'm happy with that. Was expecting around 17.
  21. You are so beautiful - Joe cocker
  22. Give me a woman - the cramps
